The Blunder in Birmingham

You might get a credit if you pass that print idea along to Daniel Moore.

That’s valid but also reinforces the point that Sankey turned his initial victory into weakness.

Im genuinely curious what you LSU fans think is an appropriate response to a school pushing against the unanimously agreed apon rules in the conference you are equal members of? Strongly worded letter? Capitulation? Litigation?

It seems that yall agree now that not rostering the players is reasonable now...but just a week ago Sankey and the rest of the schools were "unfairly targeting" LSU and Kiffin

Your admin bent over

So you're crying because LSU followed the rule.

This is why Gump logic is looked down upon.

Your team caused a problem and in the end they bent over and asked for seconds.

That is the condensed version.

Look up "Fallacy of Invincible Ignorance", Gump.

You're fixing the deck and asking why LSU can't win? LSU follows the rules: "You bent over". LSU breaks the rules: "Expel them".

All the LSU fans on here need to calm down. I know I’m asking for a miracle..

Let this season play out. Why do you think I asked that one?

Because the SEC is now playing nine conference games. And who did that all on their own, even though several in the SEC pushed back?

The man, all of you hate.

If the SEC does not get credit for strength of schedule this year and we get fewer teams in then we deserve or the ones we do get in, many are on the road instead of playing at home just because of that extra SEC game.

There’s only one person to point the finger out on that one. And he knows it, even though he will never say it. Go rewatch his opening remarks at SEC media days. He talked about the conference schedule and he tried to justify it again and it was pathetic.

This is a blunder that Sankey might not be able to recover from. Let it play out.

The response the SEC gave by instituting a rule with severe consequences seemed appropriate to me. And if LSU violated the rule there would have been catastrophic consequences for LSU. They wisely did not.

IMO, if we are going to somehow wrangle in all this BS, then the SEC must be firm and consistent. They haven’t been.

Chambliss is using a state injunction when the NCAA ruled him ineligible. The SEC ignored a player using a state court to bypass rules. They can’t do that and then expect other schools to not look at that as precedent.

I’m all for new rules against all of that being outlawed.

This is rich coming from a fan of the school that rostered and actually played a pro basketball player last season. And went to a Tuscaloosa County Circuit Judge who was an Alabama booster to do it.
