Bama beat by crowd noise alone in 2022.
shoot, look no further than this year; LSU had no business beating Ole Miss. D Valley got the best of them .

The same goes for the "Jordan-Hare magic" narrative.

Been beaten into the ground by college football's television partners.

Both are good for hyping up games that aren't always easy to hype up.

Most SEC environments at night are pretty unbelievable let's just be honest. Each fanbase will argue that theirs stands out.

Alabama and Tennessee are the only two SEC teams with winning records in DV in the 21st century so I would say it’s still a good home field advantage

How many of those games has UGA been favored in ? It's more of a home field advantage when your team pulls the upset against a better or higher ranked team.

Don’t most schools have a winning record at home ?

Most, but not all. But even if we were given an 80% chance to win each game, the odds of winning 30 in a row
are 0.1%.

We beat Auburn in 2016 as 11 point underdogs. Won plenty of games in the 2010-15 era that were basically even spreads. No matter what mental gymnastics you do it’s an incredibly unlikely streak.

Bama and LSU have lost multiple night games at home as 7+ pt favorites in the last decade, but UGA has lost none.

Home field advantage isn’t just upsets. It’s avoiding getting upset.

If you have a better team than it's much less about any "home field advantage " than it is about the team itself.

It’s called Kirby Smart being the best in the game

Kirby is the reason for the increase in crowd participation at all games in Athens. It turned the corner under Mark Richt - prior to that it was a garden party type atmosphere where 90% of those in attendance couldn't tell you what down and distance was and 50% of those wouldn't have known what that meant to begin with. From day one Smart has challenged UGA fans to be better and have given them credit for disrupting opponents and impacting the game...to the point that it is now a big part of the in game experience to try to set noise records with a decibel meter on the big screen. I have no idea where Sanford stadium ranks but I know it is INFINITELY better today than it was in the Dooley/Goff/Donnan days. There are still a huge number of fans in attendance who are there because its an event but the number of true fans who leave unable to speak until Wednesday grows every year...

Alabama has lost 3 home games in the last 10 years and two of them were to teams that finished the year as national champions or in the top 4. Neither of those was a night game. They've lost 2 night games since 2007.

Ask Saban about the best atmosphere at night, not a kid.

I’ll wait.

Every SEC stadium is difficult to play in for the visiting team, except for Vanderbilt. Right Coach Saban?

umm, bruh. saban himself said we have the best home field advantage.

also say that to the countless earthquakes games we had, 07 against florida where we converted all the fourth downs on the final drive and that game in general, 2022 bama game, the auburn fourth down pray to bryd, ole miss this year, the auburn earthquake game, and countless other games and moments that i can't about in tiger stadium history. also 2018 when we were not supposed to beat y'all. granted, it wasn't a night game but still

yeah, i know we are crap this year but when we have a great or an elite team and we are having a gteat season other than alabama lets see you try
to come in to tiger stadium at night with a 100,000 plus drunk louisianians and tiger fans. people may not want to admit it but it is different and magic happens there when everything is gling right.

also i went to the 2018 bama game and yeah we got whooped but it reached an 137 decibals. there was a guy with a decibal meter and they showed it on the big board and it reached 137. again we got crushed but just to help for some context

Wrong. Home losses to Texas (2023) and Ole Miss (2015) both night games
