I lost two old high school buddies and two friend’s moms to covid … that shite is serious. Maybe you antivaxxers should take a science course… even Daddy Trump got vaxxed and says you should too…

If this was about the science, then everyone, regardless of vaccination status, should have to take/provide a negative test since vaccinated people can have it and spread it, too.

That's per science.

What happens when lsu kicks out 35% of their students (aka 35% or tuituion fees) and the school loses a third of its revenues?

Oh they’ll keep all that money that’s already been paid for this semester and then fill the school with people from the waiting list who will glady conform to their bull shite measures bc they’re just happy to have gotten in.

Even our 2015 woke Leadership that was purged is like, “Hold ok now, let’s be reasonable.”

LSU is not holding back. It sold its soul to the woke devil when it hired the new president — a devout worshipper of critical racist theory — and this is just the beginning.

If I were a high schooler today, LSU would not be on my list of schools.

Vaccinated get it, spread it, and can still get sick from it!

Walk around a restaurant with a mask on until you sit at a table!

You can have Covid without a fever, and also have a fever without Covid, but let’s check your temperature!

Absolutely true on all accounts. Just getting over Covid now. My son brought it home from school. He ran fever , but my wife and I never did. Also my wife and I are both vaxed. That was a personal choice, and we are 100% against people being forced to do it. This country has gone mad.

The US Supreme Court stated decades ago schools may require vaccines. This isn't new and out of nowhere mandates, this has been going on since George Washington required his army to be vaccinated for Chicken Pox.

In 1905, the Supreme Court ruled that a state can mandate vaccines, and accompany those vaccine mandates with a criminal fine for those not in compliance. More broadly, the court ruled that the state can impose “reasonable regulations” to protect the public health, even when such regulations interfere with individual rights. LINK /

Screw that. I’m going to another university if I was in school. It amazes me that a public institution is forcing people to get a vaccine that has not even been fully approved by the FDA yet. It’s crazy.

I know what you mean, I, too, have a personal tale when it comes to COVID.

I know well over 100 people that have had it. Sadly, none of them have been hospitalized and all of them are alive and are fine.

Let this cautionary tale be a warning to everyone.

They gave this as an optional response. I hope about 10,000 students choose this option and then see what they do.

Yeah, you know more than educated people.

According to your link, LSU is the only SEC school that requires it.

A TON of California schools do. So congrats on fitting in perfectly with California.

Fwiw, the University of Texas NOR the University of Missouri does not require it, either.

This is good news.

Hopefully Pfizer and other companies will have their legal immunity lifted and patients that suffer side effects can begin suing now.

Same here. My wife and I are vaxxed....but only because we plan to take an International trip to Switzerland next year and figured it would be required to go.

I am always amazed at the number of people who want to allow abortions because "women should have the right to do with their bodies as they see fit", yet want to force others to be vaccinated. So much for body autonomy.

Right, someone harmed by a vaccine should be able to get some compensation...

But when you talk to actual medical people who work in actual hospitals, the ICUs are full of unvaccinated covid patients. See: LINK

There are exactly zero ICUs full of covid vaccine recipients suffering covid side effects. I probably know 200 people personally who have received covid vaccines, and none have gone to the doctor or hospital for vaccine side effects.

I know 4 people personally who have died from covid. So pick your poison, I guess...

And Tim Corbin has said he has had to show Vandy baseball players how to properly brush their teeth. Wouldn't Vandy fall into the "educated" category? Especially in the SEC.

I know a woman who received the vaccine and had a miscarriage.

I know an 86 year old guy with bone cancer who caught COVID and never got sick.

There are all kinds of outcomes.

It's almost like people ought to be able to make their own decisions instead of being coerced into one decision by a public university.
