Most of this will be forgotten by the majority of the country in about 24 hours, when another equally stupid event takes place.

I'll say one thing.... this story has completely blown tenners national championship of the front pages and out of the media in record time. It's like the Finals never happened

No disagreement that college sports is vastly changing,
NIL , money , money , money ---- leaving have and have nots
and here today gone tomorrow , has pulled the plug on the bathwater.
It's the reason I lost all interest in pro sports but at
least the pro platform attempts to create some degree of
parity ; college has none and it's simply a wild west shootout , with
"see you later Jack , they're offering me more over there
and please respect my decision," the new way to develop a team.
In the meantime , I'll try and stay with it
until contracts and buying and selling teams is too much.
At least for now , THIS is only baseball , football is just a couple of
months away. In the meantime .......
