Austin is a country club atmosphere. You are so quick to dismiss this fact just because Ags are saying it. If I'm wrong then I'll be surprised, but still laughing.

Sumlin ain't scared of Saban no matter where he is

Just can't imagine Saban at Texas. His ego would class with egos that are his equal.

3. I would laugh my arse off if Saban actually did all that Longhorn Network BS for however many hours a week that requires.

There's no way in hell Saban would put up with that shite. Reason #1249 he's not going to Texas.

I live in Austin and I just banged Saban's wife after showing her my house, so I'm getting a kick out of these replies.

I'm dismissing it because it makes very little sense for him to go to UT.

Well he probably isnt going to beat Alabama again, but that is good that he isnt scared.

I was dismissive until I read that Saban's agent is Jimmy Sexton. That guy is notorious. He is also the agent for our former basketball coach and now Piggies coach, Suitcase Mike Anderson. With Sexton guiding the way, we had to listen to Mike Anderson to (fill in the blank) rumors and actual flirtation by Anderson with a different new school EVERY SINGLE YEAR. Sexton is both masterful and annoyingly disruptive at playing schools/bidders off of each other in order to get the best situation for his client. Bama thinks its paying Saban a shitload of money? Sexton apparently thinks they can and should pay more. Whether or not Saban's interest in going to Texas is in fact real, I guarantee you Sexton will PLAY IT as if its a real interest right up until the very end. He didn't get a "super agent" rep by chance.

Isnt he pretty much every other coach's agent?

Do you really think Saban is going to play puppet to his agent?

Anyone think about him taking a deal where he coaches a few years then takes the AD position in Texas? Or maybe coach/AD? That would be worth it. But I don't think he would leave Bama where he's worshipped, just for another HC job. But maybe he thinks he will never beat the ghost of the bear so he wants out. He's a very egotistical from all accounts and he hates living in that shadow. But I think it would have to be for something besides more money and AD after a few years would be a great incentive

Because there's nothing Saban loves more than kissing up to big money boosters, glad-handing alumni at school events, and looking out for the women's rowing program. Seriously if you think Nick Saban has any desire to be an AD after his coaching career you're automatically one of the dumbest SOBs on this site. When he's done coaching, he'll be at Lake Burton.

I guess he thinks Saban is a professional athlete or something....it doesn't work like that for coaches.....he must be a wee bit dense.

If it could put an extra mil in his pocket, why wouldn't he?

Yep, Texas undefeated in big 12 for now...prolly get decent bowl, and reprieve for Mack. He'll get a new coordinator and buy another year.

I like that you're trying to tell SEC fans about Jimmy Sexton. He's notorious for getting his clients raises, and fake rumors are certainly his style.
