Nothing else to prove in college football for Saban. We know he's the best, and he will have shown he's the best by how many titles he has.

But his one failure was the NFL. You know he's itching at redemption there. He's young enough to give it a good run to end his career. If he fails, so what?

He's gotta be getting sick of recruiting too.

So Bama fans, enjoy this game as if it's his last.

Saban ain’t even coming to Bama. And if he does he won’t stay but a year or two.

I doubt it. Saban retires from bama.

When? Probably in 4-5 years.

When he says, "I'm not retiring, aight?! Do I need to say it again?! I'm not retiring!"; then you know he is retiring.

He loves recruiting. He's stated that many times. Could he still have the NFL itch? Sure. If he does leave it'll be to a team with an established qb and he's going to have to be given full control.
Most Bama fans will be happy for him and thankful for all he has done and for how much talent he left Dabo with.

I'm just saying to Bama fans, don't take tonight for granted, because you just never know.

It's not like Saban hasn't lied before...

He could wake up tomorrow and change his mind. It does happen, ya know?

If Bama fans were smart, they would pull for Clemson to win.

But...

They text back and forth all the time...funny thing is Saban reached out to him first, anonymously, via text

No, he won't. The NFL ship sailed years ago. Saban will retire or die as the HC for Alabama. Which comes first is yet to be seen. I personally thinl with Saban's health, he will be there for at least 5 more years. The only possibility I see him retiring sooner is if he retires after passing Bear Bryant's number of titles at Alabama. He'll tie Bear Bryant for national title at Alabama with a win tonight.

Saban to the NFL just isn't happening. Saban is too old to change how he manages his team, and quite frankly has no desire to change either (why would he?). He will never have the control over an NFL team like he does a college team. He cannot coach millionaires like he coaches college players. They either buy in or don't play in college. In the NFL they can demand a trade or hold out. Management has a hand in personnel decisions. In college, the buck stops with Saban in regards to personnel. The man is 67 years old and is a living god in the college football world. Why on earth would he want to go to the NFL at his age to effectively start over? Not to mention he's the highest paid coach in all of sports, either college or professional, at $11.15MM/year, and that will never change if Alabama's hand is forced.

The guy has absolutely nothing to prove. An NFL move would be out of complete boredom. If Saban really wanted to go to the NFL, he's had ample opportunity to do so for years. Hell, he left on his own the first time, for that matter.

This is probably the dumbest thing that's ever been typed on the rant. Congrats

He will pass Bear tonight if they win.

Bear had 6. Saban has 6.

Nothing more to prove for Saban at Bama. He's young enough to change for the NFL and they'll match Bama at minimum to come to them.

He already has nothing to prove.

It’s not about challenges anymore. He just hates losing.

In total national titles, not national titles only at Alabama, which is what i said in my post. And for all we know Saban wants to be viewed as the best college coach of all-time in any sport. Some still say John Wooden is with his 10 national titles. Who knows what Saban's career goals are, if he even has any.

He's 67 dude. The oldest coaches in NFL history to begin their tenures with a team were Dick Vermeil and Joe Gibbs, both at 64. Saban will turn 68 in October.
