I truly believe Saban had a hand in encouraging some of our local media to push the issue at getting Bobby fired

Probably went as far as to pay some of them off under the table

Saban dynasty?

with a big fat asterisk

the same bobby petrino who was 0-4 against Bama at Arky? the same bobby p who lost those 4 games by a combined score of 146-55? Yeah. I bet Saban was terrified of a guy he beat by an average of 23 points per game and who only scored above 14 points against him once in 4 years.

Really? Because usually within 2 years a coach has a good program up and running. See Saban at both LSU and Bama, Urban at Florida, Stoops at OU, Tressel at tOSU, the list goes on.

Even Gus had Auburn in the NC game by year 2.

Did Jeff Long seriously let the local media influence his decision to can BP?

Bobby lied to his boss, the UA Board/President. I can't imagine the local media played a major part of his termination.

Bobby lost to saban by 35 his first year

Second year we lost by 28 @ Tuscaloosa

Y3 we lost by 4

Y4 we lost by 24 @ Tuscaloosa

2012 was set to be a bloodbath in Fayetteville. Bama and saban were going to be DOA until saban pulled his strings and got Bobby fired.

I do not buy tinfoil anywhere.

You're just mad that the little midget will forever have an Arkansas asterisk next to his "dynasty" propaganda

2008 : 35
2009 : 28
2010 : 4
2011 : 24
2012 : ____?

Seems like patterning tells me 2012 would be around 28-31. So, it does seem like Bobby getting fired cost Arkansas about 3 TDs considering they lost by 52.

Would have been a helluva effort. HOF type coaching job IMHO.

I had no idea Saban was pulling strings in Fayetteville to the extent that he placed that blond on Bobby's staff, funneled in a $25,000 "gift" to her from Bobby, mounted her on the back of BP's hog for a Sunday afternoon ride, proceeded to lay down the hog resulting in BP's skint up face on national TV and lead to his total dishonesty with his boss about his side piece.
