Miami Herald says Coleman is likely a ourKansas or AU. Miami Herald
Found this tidbit on hogville:
Per Neal McCready: Shon Coleman Reply Per people at Miami, Arkansas is basically out of it, while Shon doesn't understand the hatred between Olive Branch and Ole Miss either...makes him nervous
Coleman also said that Alabama has "too many linemen" now, so Auburn may get him "by default".
hogville, the place for the most delusional fanbase in college football
I sure would like to know why the piggies think they have a chance. The seems to think that Shon's mom loved the pigpen.

Didn't Coleman cancel an official to Arkansas?

A few years ago another recruit from Alabama had an offer from Auburn but not Alabama. He committed to Auburn. He grew up a big Alabama fan, but Alabama didn't offer him until very late in the game. His name was Jared Cooper and he kept his commitment to Auburn. I don't know how he has done at Auburn, I don't keep up with their team that much.
I am wondering if this will work out like that did. I really would like to have him, but Alabama may have waited too late.
Not really the same. Cooper was never recruited by the Shula staff, but when Saban was hired, he was one of the first in-state recruits he went after. He nearly "flipped", but after being committed to Auburn for so long, and only knowing the new Alabama coaching staff, at the time, for a couple of weeks, he stayed with Auburn. Coleman, on the other hand, has known the Alabama for over a year. He's been recruited by them, and attended several camps, in addition to getting to know them during former teammates Rod Woodson's recruitment last year.

Personally I wouldn't be shocked if we missed out on both. Stone doesn't seem likely now from what I've heard and while I definitely think we could get Coleman there are reasons to believe otherwise, Auburn was first to offer, they're good recruiters too, he's more in line for a starting spot in 2011 there, etc.

Some guys don't want to compete for their position. What they don't realize is that THOSE guys are the ones that wind up in the NFL. You can go play for UAB for four years and then sell used cars.

No comparison. We had no depth. At all.

Good argument and logic, except you are wrong.
Coleman was not in TTown 3 days, he actually was there less than 24 hours.
He arrived late Wednesday and left Thursday night.

No... not hypocritical.... I just wasn't talking about you guys.
...and yeah... you're where we were with Shula.
Enjoy.

Can you give me one good reason you don't have a commitment from either of them?
Because neither of them is committed to anyone
Actually, Shon Coleman has committed to Auburn, and has said nothing to contradict that commitment.

Why do you find it necessary to use the son of one of Bama's coaches, that died from Down's syndrome as an attempt to flame like that? Do you feel that it makes you look cool? Or perhaps that it is something that gives you some e-cred?
I can only hope that you are pretty young and immaturity is something that you will grow out of to do something like this.

Outside of country artists.. is there any genre of music where people are actually talented and have talent when they sing live and aren't helped electronically? The Grammys suck and pretty much every performer has been awful.
