He said “I’m not going to say what he said because he coached at another school”. With that inference, we can at the very least confidently say he said it’s a better job than Alabama.

I felt like he answered all of his questions with class and candor. I mean Saban has said his biggest regret was leaving LSU. It’s not a huge leap of logic to think he might have said it’s the best job in the country, conference, or at the very least; better than Alabama. I’m sorry he didn’t bring the receipts necessary for you to believe that. If he’d known you would need convincing, I’m sure he would have had no problem burning his friend and trusted mentor to sway you.

Textbook narcissist move:
Step 1: identify desperate mark
Step 2: look for whatever their insecurities are and build them up
Step 3: leverage those insecurities against the mark to get whatever you want
Step 4: tweak the messaging up and down as needed to maintain parasitic relationship and avoid accountability while isolating them from their peers to better control them
Step 4: discard when discovered or no longer beneficial and move on to new host
It’s so obvious, they have multiple other schools telling them what’s going on and yet an entire fanbase is not only onboard but manically excited for the hustle.
I wish both them all the best.
