I get the significance of this but y'all put WAY too much weight into where a team loses. It's not as important as y'all think. I know Oklahoma State lost to Iowa State. If my family's life was on the line and I had to tell you where that game was played they'd have a 50/50 shot. It never even crossed my mind WHERE they lost. There are 20 different places to lose. You either lose at home, or not at home.

Baylor had a good year...that should indicate the average quality of the other teams in the conference.

I said that I recognize that team as BCS champions because they won the crystal ball. Am I wrong?
Of course not. The people that continue to "come at me bro" about what happened on January 9th are mistaken.
We got our asses HANDED to us.
That doesn't change the fact that Alabama should not have been there. The end does not justify the means.

Go have drunk sex, then.
Whatever you utter during your climax after 35 seconds of passionate, inebriated lovemaking will most assuredly make more sense than anything you've written on this board tonight.

So let me ask you this. What should Alabama have done when they received the invitation?

Baylor had a future #1 pick Heisman winner at QB.
You see what that did for Auburn, don't you?
I'd go lurk for a while if I were you.

bullshite.
You're shooting for a zinger and missing.
You can disagree with what I'm saying all night, but you know you can see where I am coming from.

You've got me wrong, pal.
Not blaming Alabama.
Blaming the system.

These are just cute(and weak) arguments y'all use. It's not like Alabama finished 2nd behind Ole Miss then LSU and Alabama played for the NC. They finished 2nd behind the #1 team in the country. Thank goodness the NC is 1 vs 2(out of 6).

RG3 got raped 55-28 that year by a .500 A&M team.

Not sure what this has to do with anything.

Nah, just relaying what I've observed.

There is NOTHING you can say to me that I haven't heard a million times before. I was LIVING in Oklahoma at the time, and they had the same shrill, silly arguments.
And even they have largely gotten over '11, to their credit.

And yet, over a 12 game sample size, they still finished 2nd.
I'll take 12 games over 60 minutes anyday.

There are 3 parts to the voting. Which part do you not agree with and why?

Auburn had this thing called a defense. Baylor wouldn't know what a defense was if they had Nick Saban as their head coach. They barely squeaked by 2-10 Kansas in OT. RG3 was phenomenal, but that Baylor team was average at best and had a good record due to a weak conference.

It is funny...the guy that has been here a year longer, but has half as many posts tells me to lurk. Sounds like you are more accustomed to it. Perhaps you should have never stopped.

I am listing to you, the least you could do is listen to me.

That's not entirely true, and you know it. You won't say that Alabama should have turned down the invitation because you know that's ludicrous. Yet you have no compunction about castigating Bama fans for celebrating the title. That is equally ludicrous yet you see it as acceptable. Judging from this thread I might go so far as to say you see it as your duty.
