So you all admit that you received media bias to get into the 2011 title game?
That's all I'm fricking saying.
No it means we earned our spot in the game completely legitimately. We had the better loss.

Winning the big12 is HARDLY comparable to being runner up in the SEC West

7 of those were over ranked and you know it.

All impressive, but dead wrong.
LSU got an invitation to that game for one reason and one reason only: the BCS formula.
That happens to be the same reason Alabama received an invitation. If we were an invalid participant, then so was LSU.
By the way, if you can show me where the word "deserve" appears anywhere in the BCSCG formula, referring to criteria for invitation, I will concede immediately.
fricking finally, a real response.
I submit that the BCS formula that rewards a team who loses their division and conference, a team that beat less ranked teams than their competition, is inherently wrong.
What say you?

shite, just LAST YEAR, the 5th best team in the SEC (A&M), dismantled the big12 co-champion OU.
And you're gonna sit here and tell me that the winner of that POS conference deserves a title shot?

And Okie State had 4 more wins against ranked teams.
And a better computer formula.
And a conference championship.
AND a division championship.

I can play this game, too.
I certainly hope you are intoxicated in some form. Man it was 592 days ago. If you are still this upset over it and aren't just drunk then you truly have issues.

The most intelligent form of "why u mad?" I have seen. Well done!
Debate the facts, frick.

And we still made it in based on the agreed upon formula that every school in College football was a party to. There was no board of arbitration that added Alabama to the game as an act of fiat.

Which are bullshite.

big12. irrelevant.

AND a division championship.
Also completely fricking irrelevant. There weren't even divisions per se in the big12 that year. Round robin schedule with no championship game.
THAT'S what screwed them.

2013 =/= 2011
Oklahoma in 2013 =/= Okie State in 2011
This shite isn't hard, bro.
If you think I'm wrong, then you think the entire BCS formula is wrong. (Which is fine, because so do I.)
The fact remains that Oklahoma State beat more ranked teams than Alabama that year. That's not even debatable.

What say you?
I say the formula was clearly built with human voting as a major factor to avoid the very thing you think should have happened. Enough voters saw that Alabama was clearly the better team. I say the formula worked.
Having said that, I'm overjoyed that we're finally moving to a playoff soon.

Debate the facts
Fact #1 LSU played Alabama on January 9th, 2012.
Fact #2 LSU proceeded to pucker their tight little a-hole as Alabama went in dry.
That is all that matters at this point.

Then the clearly better team had already lost on their own home field in the regular season.
So why play again?
I thought the regular season was supposed to be important?
Having said that, I'm overjoyed that we're finally moving to a playoff soon.
And why do you think that is?![]()

Same conference, bro.
big12 sucks, bro.
Not even debateable, bro.

No one in their right mind thinks the BCS formula is correct.
