What's that got to do with being Co-OC?

Saban got tired of beating everyone at chess and is now switching back to checkers.

He's naming Sarkisians replacement for when he falls off the wagon.

title only and allows him to pay Locksley better salary than if he were simply TE Coach. Everyone knows it's Sark's O and Sark will call the plays.

And Lupoi has been co-DC. Not sure why this is funny to you troglodytes. It's a title to keep elite recruiters from being poached easily. Justifies them getting a pay increase.

Does being an OC hurt or help his recruiting ability? I thought coordinators were limited as well. I am probably wrong.

And this is likely juggling titles to make room for the 10th on-field assistant, when it's approved by the NCAA.

This.
With the new 10th coach on the field being approved in April there are going to be some staffs left holding their nuts when the big boys poach their best position coaches and recruiters.
Alabama is trying to insulate themselves with this move.

Would assume CNS would bring on a QB coach.

Not to my knowledge. It's not similar to "head coach in waiting" fad that died out.

That's what I am thinking of. Man, that was stupid. But then again. Mack Brown.

That's Steve Sarkisian's role, along with OC. And he's proven to be solid at it. He turned Jake Locker into a first round pick.

Then you think he would go Defense?
