Yeah I figured. Every fan base has it's crazies but I fail to see how any true Tide fan could possibly be disappointed with what Saban has done there. It's historical.

No, I meant Bama is not as good as in previous years. If OU loses to TCU(which I don't want or think will happen) then Bama might go to the playoffs and get embarrassed. Is what I meant. I would rather just go to Big 6 bowl.

UAB use to be a part of the University of Alabama. The nursing school and medical college were asked to be moved to Bham because it's the center of the state.
Over time, the alumni decided it wanted to be the main college in Alabama and broke away and stole the medical college. I really don't understand how the University allowed this.
UAB thinks they should be the top program in Alabama. It's the Bama envy thing.

Heck, 2 of our last 3 governors have spent jail time & the last one should have after he was forced to resign.

lol, "stole the medical college". We're still part of the same system. You wanted the law school and you got it.
As for football, certain people in Tuscaloosa don't want UAB to have football because Bear Bryant didn't. That's it, that's the only reason. Some fans feel they have to follow suit and I don't know why, UAB football doesn't adversely effect Alabama football in any way. Go ask Nick Saban, he'll probably tell you he doesn't give a shite either.
As for me, I've been an Alabama fan all my life, my uncle was a walk on in the 80's. I went to UAB and I believe, perhaps naively, that you should want the school you actually attended to do well.
None of this has to do with Saban shitting the bed yesterday though.
