As was mentioned earlier freeze's scheme doesn't fit bama's personnel. He's all spread and finesse..No downhill power running at all .

I have a feeling he’ll hire McElwain back. He was the longest tenured OC during Saban’s era and probably the next best after Kiffin.

Maybe, but he shouldn't do it the scheme isn't a great fit. I'd be more worried if he stole Wisconson's OC

Not sure about moxy, but he's damned sure one of the few who would feel comfortable making that hire and not worrying about being able to control him.

Freeze is morally corrupt. He preaches the gospel daily during practice and nearly forces his players to go to church with him. Then he goes out and hires hookers when he's on the road recruiting. He pays players and their families and openly cheats for a competitive advantage. Never seen anything like that with any Saban team. I don't think (and hope he doesn't) he would ever even consider hiring Freeze.

If anything could take down the Bama machine this could be it. Would be a horrible move. May win on the field but would rot that program from the inside and would be a disaster.

At best he gets an analyst position and that has more to do with his offensive philosophy than it does as his acumen as an OC. Saban likes to run a power spread and that's not Hugh Freeze.
