I think "poor performance" is your decriptors not coach Sabans.
Saban - "Didn't look very quick, didn't look very fast. Didn't have a lot of energy like we usually do. I think that's playing eight games in a row."
Weak Sauce!

Oline hasn't had a lot energy for the past 8 games. Weak sauce!!!!!!!

Beat up? You"ll find what being beat up really feels like in two weeks.

What was les's excuse for being 17-13 in the 3rd quarter against western kentucky in a rain storm that prevented then from running their offense?

Sounds like they cannot even beat themselves anymore.

Yahoo Sports - Alabama coach Nick Saban said he could tell his team was getting weary in Saturday's 19-14 win over Tennessee on Henry's 14-yard touchdown with 2:24 left followed by a forced fumble.
''We were tired out there, dead-legged,'' Saban said. ''Didn't look very quick, didn't look very fast. Didn't have a lot of energy like we usually do. I think that's playing eight games in a row."
South Carolina and Auburn played eight straight games for twenty fricking years after the first expansion ... wonder if Saban made any excuses for either of them while he was at LSU or Bama?
He makes a good point ... it's still a bullshite excuse.

Well, according to this Bama fan - "Lane Kiffin will "coach" Alabama right out of this game. How hard is it to just give Henry the ball?"

Hasn't LSU played that many in a row as well?

Do you understand LSU 7-0 versus Alabama 7-1 and Week 8 of the CFB season?
...or are numbers just funny, squiggly lines to you?

They actually did play the same amount of games, just not the same amount of minutes. Theirs just didn't count.

He probably needs to learn to keep quiet when asked questions like that. I have no doubt it's his honest opinion -- the thing I really admire about him is that he'll say what he really believes; whether its about his team's performance, praising the other team, or lecturing his own fans, he'll make his thoughts known and won't spare himself or his team's performance -- but there are just times when you have to realize you're in the world of the 24 hour Internet soundbite and mumble some coachspeak and move on.
Or, maybe he really doesn't give a shite what a bunch of keyboard warriors have to manufacture outrage and angst about when he gives an honest answer to a question.
For what it's worth, an explanation is not always just an excuse.

Agree with him. Aggie's had 8 in a row last year. Nobody should have to do that.

Except it wasn't an honest answer, it was a poor excuse. All you have to do is look back at the schedules of Saban's past teams to know it's "weak sauce."
Tigers will deliver some hot sauce in a couple weeks.
