It isn't lost on me that it's entirely possible that Tua was lieing to Saban and the doctors. He's a competitor and has a dad that apparently beat the shite out of him for not being superman when he was a kid. It wouldn't shock me at all if he lied to Saban and the doctors and hid his the pain to make sure no one got in the way of him trying to get on the field and win.

The doctors see good xrays, swelling under control, and the patient tells them that he feels great. He looks ok in drills, why wouldn't they clear him?

He tells coach that he feels great, 100%. Why wouldn't Saban believe him?

All the while, he's 70% at best and can't hide the pain after 60 minutes of pressure.

I'm just saying, it's not outta the realm of possibility.

Yeah, Saban definitely seems like a warm fuzzy guy while Coach O is a heartless robot. Your post definitely makes sense.

I don't think I Heard Saban utter a single word that wasn't calculated and self serving over his first 6 or 7 years at Bama. He at least seems to talk like a real person at times now.
