I mean I’ll give you he made Tubs quit Auburn but the guy coached for nearly 10 more years before getting into Politics

I know why you put Golding up there but since it was game #1 as a HC for him (vs the worst playoff contender let in to date) it should truly be Kiffin/Golding * ;)

I didn’t know if I should because Saban fired Kiffin before the season was over

Steve Sloan played and coached for Bear Bryant before that.

Parcells coached for Sloan at Vandy and Texas Tech.

Parcells was OL coach and Belichick was DC.

Bill Parcells was never an offensive line coach

Not to diminish what Bear did, but Saban’s accomplishments are way more impressive. Did it in a much more competitive era of college FB )and particularly for the SEC) and his coaching tree is second to none. I don’t like saying never when it comes to accomplishments, but I doubt we’ll ever see someone replicate what he did.

when Bill Parcells was DC under Ray Perkins, Belichik was his LB coach

Belichick was never Bill Parcells boss - other way around

We had it before with Bear Bryant. There will be another and he will also be in Tuscaloosa.

Don't kid yourself. Bear was a Bama alum and you lucked into Saban.

The college football landscape has changed with the portal, NIL, revenue sharing, realignment. I doubt that there will be anymore dynasties. DeBoer inherited a great program with plenty of talent and he's lost 7 games in two years. Does that make him bad? No. There's just more competition.

His 2015 staff might be the best ever assembled

Don’t kid yourself. Saban went to Bana for the same reason he told Kiffin to go to LSU- he knew you could win there. It was a good business decision and luck had nothing to do with it.

The lucky part was when Rich Rod chickened out of the Bama job. If he takes the job, Saban ends up elsewhere.

There’s at least a little luck in every great decision.
