quote:Best recruiting tool yet, Miles will tell his future recruit That he will coddle him after a terrible play and reinforce its okay to make an unwise decision. On the other hand Saban can say we expect the most out of a player when given an opportunity to perform.
This should be a great recruiting tool for LSU. Thanks Nick
I prefer the Saban approach, the guy is demanding excellence when given an opportunity.

Any video or write up about this?
Yep, it was on espn, he went about 15 yards out on the field to start his tantrum, it was pitiful. Why anyone would want thier son to play for this person is beyond me

Only problems I have with it is that he has never done shite like that to mcelroy, and he has actually done much worse all year.
C'mon man.

The throw would have been a TD had he put a liiiiiitle bit more on it.
That throw could have been a pick six. I like McCarrron as much as anyone, but y'all act like 12 is garbage and 10 is Elway. That pass was one of the dumbest mistakes I've seen in a while.

Looks like there are no coaches on here.
You are always hardest on the kids with most talent less work effort which are usally the 4/5 star guys. they are used to things coming easy to them. You have to challenge them to work hard stay focused. That is all he was doing.
The kids with limited talent like 3 stars etc who work their asses off but may get beat just because,... you grab at side lines and tell them it is Ok they will get them next time. Why, he is giving you all he has to give. That is all you can ask for.
AJ can do better, and he knows it.

there seems to be 3 kinds of LSU posters concerning saban...
#1)those yearning and pining to spend the night with him
#2)those that interpret everything he does as wrong
#3)those that don't give a shite; he's bama's coach for god's sake
the man's a damn good coach and he's proved it. but, he's bama's coach; let them sleep with him.

Hitting players didn't work very well for Woody Hayes.

Any flack that is... given to Saban over "spanking" AJ, is retarded. This is Division I football and the SEC. You don't like it, quit watching and buying tickets.
+1. Find something else to talk about. If you can't take an arse-chewing and a slap on the butt, go watch figure skating.

Woody Hayes punched a player in the face. That's a little different than slapping someone on the arse.

Question? Why does Saban have to pull stunts like that to motivate? I'm happy he's no longer at LSU.
