We get 15 pages on bull shite rumors from a Cleveland radio show, but Nick Saban speaks himself and not even two pages before this is pushed off the top of the board. Amazing.

They asked Saban if he had any regrets during the time at Miami? He did say he regretted how he left. Said he would do it different now. Said.....but you can't go back. You learn from your mistakes and grow as a person. He said he thought at the time he was handling it right. I think that took a lot of guts to say to Miami folks.

Working on his public image; for obvious reasons. Strategic move.

Some if you fggts need to scale back on the trolling accusations and actually learn what it is. I wasn't trolling.
Saban is, without a doubt, the best coach in college football. Any football fan, except UA, would be interested in seeing, again, if he could hack it in the NFL.
Despite what riseupfromtherubble said, Saban never made the playoffs with the Dolphins and thus, by professional standards, failed in the NFL. I'd be interested, if on his second go around, he could win at a higher rate.

Then why would Dolphin fans be mad? Doesn't make sense.

Because from season one to season two the dolphins got worse. So he left on the decline and on top of that:
And I like Saban so its not an anti-Saban sentiment. He won a title for LSU. It was the last LSU game my dad got to see in person. I like Saban for what he did at LSU.

During the month of December 2006, Saban was repeatedly questioned by the media about the Alabama job, and he repeatedly denied the rumors in his weekly press conferences, stating on December 21 "I guess I have to say it. I'm not going to be the Alabama coach." [20][21] Saban did eventually meet with Alabama officials on January 1, 2007, [22] following the Dolphins' season ending loss to the Indianapolis Colts.

Not particularly. Meyer is a good coach and idc to see him in the NFL. Same for Miles and same for Spurrier. I like em in CFB.

quote:Saban has already said that he regretted leaving LSU for the NFL. IMO that's why he will retire at UA.
So I guess he owed no loyalty to the players he had recruited at LSU?
