AJ McCarron

He is second in Heisman Watch

For no reason whatsoever, other than being the starting QB of the #1 team and the lack of INTs that his role brings with it. McCarron has 1,800 total yards and 20 total TDs nine games into the season. Manziel surpassed those totals in his fifth game.
If JFF is so fuk'n good then why does A&M have 2 loses about to be 3. If he is a Heisman above all other contenders why couldn't he pull those 2 games out and score enough points to beat the opponent and find a way to win?

OP was reading TeLaFaWx's Trolling for Aggys thread.

It's a doctorate level course at A&M.

Go read again.

But we embrace the barner-gump alliance renouncing JFF's greatness.

Cam found a way to win and take over games even though AU's defense finished ranked 60th in the nation.

A&M's defense is ranked 47th 2012
AU's defense was ranked 60th 2010

A&M's offense is ranked 5th 2012
AU's offense was ranked 7th 2010

If JFF is so good then again I ask, why does A&M have 2 losses about to be 3 and yet AU went undefeated when Cam won the Heisman?

IMO AJ McCarron deserves the Heisman over JFF to this date as he has found a way to win when he had to and over came adversity.

Why hasn't JFF done the same?

Ruh Roh Raggy!!

McCarron took the ball with 1:34 left on the clock with no timeouts and drove for the winning TD in Death Valley against a frenzied defense.

Manziel would have more than likely ran around spectacularly and then thrown a pick.

Manziel is a better athlete but McCarron is seasoned. I seriously doubt Saban would prefer to have Manziel.

Tebow and RG3 had 3 losses too. JFF with better numbers. RG3 similar numbers but worse competition.

It really is...considering that they are undefeated and your team isn't. If JM was a Gump...he wouldn't be starting. Saban would never let one of his QB's carry the ball that much. He recruits stud RB's to do that. The QB's main priority is to win games and AJ does that really well. While I hate everything about the Gumps...your statement is stupid. I can be objective enough to give credit where it is due.

Who will be drafted higher is a better question. My money would be on AJ. JM is talented but you idiots talk like he is the second coming of Michael Vick. MV would have had more than 27 yards against LSU.
