So a true freshman is the best quarterback on the roster?

Possibly. If he was on LSU, he still might be the best quarterback on the roster. We will find out

According to practice observers, apparently so. He has also put on about 20 pounds , and not just weight but muscle.

Lest we forget, a lot of LSU fans were counting on Underwood this season. Unfortunately he will be suiting up for Michigan

Less desirable is the elite 5 star qb you counted on is playing for another team

No one was counting on Underwood to start in 2025.

Weird deflection.

A lot of Tiger Rant and SEC Rant LSU fans were apparently counting on it and were trashing Nussmeier. Now you’re stuck with him.

To be clear, most Alabama fans expect Simpson or Mack to start but it won’t be a surprise if Russell is starting by the end of the season. He is progressing that well.

Fans don't make the decision.

Nussmeier has the highest Heisman odds in the country, prefer that to a freshman anyday.

How so? Didn't spring football just start?

Milroe was the Heisman favorite a few games into 2024.

Congratulations

Like I said earlier, I think any of the 3 will be at the least, a slight upgrade in consistency of running the offense. Loved watching Milroe when he was at his best, but when he was bad, he was really bad

Milroe’s performance! Unfortunately we couldn’t play LSU every week

Why didn't they play then?

Bama fans are so desperate to deflect to LSU that they can't explain why these supposed better options never saw the field.

Nick Saban said in fall camp of 2023 that Milroe and Simpson were very close. He went with Milroe because he was a class ahead and “had the locker room “. , which is the same reason DeBoer went with him last season. Milroe did, after all, keep enough players out of the portal when Saban retired to field a decent team. I will give Milroe credit for being good enough to be 4-0 vs Auburn and LSU, but the offense will be more prolific next season, especially considering Grubb replces Sheridan as OC

I mean, that's what I'm asking.

Bama fans keep saying that a true freshman and two backups are better than Milroe, what is that based on besides cope at this point?
