The kid is an outstanding player, saw him play at Saraland against my Saints. Man amongst boys.
I am not involved like I used to be but I never heard anything bad about him. He is 17, just a kid give him a break

To our new OU and Texas posters trying to learn SEC fan base cultures, this is classic Auburn right here. They hire a coach who brazenly cheated enough to land his team a 2 year bowl ban, hired escort services for himself while on recruiting trips at least a dozen times, preached about God from his pulpit the entire time, then when caught, used God as his cover while lying to the university and public that pays his salary. Then he goes off to a Bible college to seek forgiveness, ends up back in the SEC at the only school weird enough to hire him, and when the losing continues the fans go with the "but we are better people than you" line to find cover.

Our coach is a man of God and fortunately came to the only true conservative Christian university in the SEC. He repented of his sins, and as members of the church, we all recognize when men need the chance to witness for the goodness of the Lord. You all should be thankful you have the opportunity to see what God can do with even the most damaged men.
