Mallet is going to be an incredible QB in the NFL. IMO.

I'm not sure. He's Jamarcus Russell all over again. All the arm strength in the world, but not all there in the head. His arm strength alone cannot do well in the NFL. NFL QB's have to be leaders and have to be very, very smart.

Colt Brennan had 131 in his career. I wasn't aware someone passed him.

He means total, passing and rushing. LeFevour has 148 total in his career( one being via reception).

Mallet is smarter than JaMarcus Russell. Russell is probably one of the stupidest people on Earth. Mallet got into Michigan, which is a really good school.

And UGA fans should not talk shite about Russell, because Stafford will be an NFL bust just like Russell.

Jimmy Claussen is much more NFL ready than Mallet. Claussen would have been great in the SEC, just as he was at ND. It was not his fault they did not have a defense and he lost his best WR for 6 games this year.

Substitute "best WR for 3 games (Joe Adams)" not to mention our Defense and you just described Mallett. Right?

With Locker coming back for his senior season, Jimmy Clausen(typical pro QB) is the only QB that I believe will be drafted in front of him if Mallet declares, McCoy is not as highly sought after as many think...

I agree about McCoy but I think Bradford could also be drafted ahead of Mallet depending on the shoulder.

I think whomever drafts Clausen should try like hell to hire Charlie Weis.

No. Clausen is a 3 year starter and Mallett is still pretty inexperienced. That is the major difference between the two.

Mallett's cig smoking should raise flags to NFL GMs...

He doesn't have that "Face of the Franchise" quality to me. He's a great passer but not sure if he has the intangibles. TBD.

Weis will be back under Belicheeeck next year IMO.

Clausen is likely the 1st pick overall if the Rams don't trade for Vick...

As much disdain I have for anything ND or Clausen I agree that he is the most pro ready QB in the draft.Mallett has everything to be successful physically, mentally I don't think so.Reminds me of Ryan Leaf. Not real high on Bradford or McCoy either. Both could be good in the right system but not in others. The Philadelphia system and other west coast, accuracy based systems are probably most suitable.

theres nothing about mallet that says NFL QB, other than being tall and having a strong arm

clausen is far, FAR and away a better pro prospect, clausen is a a much better pro prospect than locker too

mccoy is next then bradford i guess...clausen is a surefire 1st rounder, probably top 5, then idk if anyone else goes first round, locker and mallet wouldnt go first round either

locker

Would be a 1st Rd pick this year, he's built like Brady Quinn, only faster and with a better arm.
