I'm having trouble coming up with QB's other than Colt McCoy that may be taken ahead of him.
Bradfor has been injured. Tebow is "iffy."
Thoughts?

With Locker coming back for his senior season, Jimmy Clausen(typical pro QB) is the only QB that I believe will be drafted in front of him if Mallet declares, McCoy is not as highly sought after as many think...

Mallet is going to be an incredible QB in the NFL. IMO.

That will be a fricking joke if Clausen gets drafted before Mallett.

Im not sure Mallet is either at this point.

Why do LSU fans continue to start threads about Mallett leaving early?

Clausen is the better pro prospect at this time, Mallet still needs to work on pocket awareness.

Point taken, did not think about that...

ive seen both play, and half of Clausen's balls would be picked off in the SEC, I'm tellin' ya.

Jimmy Claussen is much more NFL ready than Mallet. Claussen would have been great in the SEC, just as he was at ND. It was not his fault they did not have a defense and he lost his best WR for 6 games this year.

That's your opinion and I'm cool with that, but Clausen is the best QB in the draft and it's not even close. He's played in Weiss' Offense for 3 years, giving him a good "prep" for a NFL offense...

Clausen,Bradford, Mccoy, Mallett in that order

you are probably right, I am just letting my Notre Dame hate get in the way of reality.

Understandable, I hate them too...

Whomever get LeFeavour (sp) will be getting one hell of a qb. He has had over 50 college starts. The NFL does not value starts like they should. He will be pretty good in the NFL. A good example is Chad Henne.

I just figured it out. The only chance LSU has against us in Little Rock next year is if Mallet turns pro.

I wouldn't go that far, many GM use that as one of their major factor when scouting QBs...
In LeFevour's case, they look at level of competition too...
