Big10 teams for whatever reason desire to be bailed out by targeting penalties. Makes them pussies as real football people think targeting penalties are bullshite to begin with.

Unlike Ohio state, Michigan might have a legit case against the call that was made.

All this thread has shown me is that OSU coaches, players and fans:

1 - Are wusses.
2 - Don't understand the rules of football.
3 - Don't handle losing well.

Ohio State fans, as a group, are an entitled bunch. Calls on the field should never go against them and when the calls do go against them it is because the officials have been bought off, a conspiracy by ESPN to keep them down or in this case the SEC office bought off the officials.

They get a lot of smoke blown up their butt all the time about how much better they are than everyone else and in the big ten that has held true for a while. Their dismal record against the SEC in bowl games sticks in their craw to the point they almost get hysterical about it. All of these "theories" about their losses to SEC teams is a way of them rationalizing those losses.

It is also true a lot of them don't understand the rules of the game or perhaps they don't want to understand the rules of the game.

Hell of a comment considering what we've seen displayed by Georgia fans here. We've had some who didn't know targeting couldn't stand, some who think it can only be crown of the helmet, some who think the play is still 4th down if it's called, etc.

Most of this is not true, but you have a history of lying to try to cover up for your failures, and this is just another example.

Even if it were, it’s still not as bad as your incorrect interpretation of the rule within that play.

If THE ohio state teams can’t handle super hard hitting teams and refuse to see the truth when calls go against them maybe they should avoid SEC schools.
No more bowls against the SEC and the childish nuts must absolutely pass up the playoffs if they ever manage to slither themselves in again. Your feelings are way too delicate for the big time - just like your team.
The big 10 is a conference of arrogant entitled sissies. The UGA/ Michigan game last year and the UGA/THE osu game this year proved that. What a bunch of whiney brats

I know the rule. It requires a strike to the head and neck area. No the strike doesn’t have to be with the crown. He wasn’t struck in the head or neck. It was a shoulder to the shoulder. Instead of hitting your little red buttons, how about post video evidence it fit the elements of targeting. I can’t find one and neither could the replay officials.

Even drugs can't ease the pain that Buckeye fans must feel towards the SEC.

ARTICLE 4. No player shall target and make forcible contact to the head or neck area of a defenseless opponent (See Note 2 below) with the helmet, forearm, hand, fist, elbow or shoulder. This foul requires that there be at least one indicator of targeting (See Note 1 below). When in question, it is a foul (Rules 2-27-14 and 9-6). (A.R. 9-1-4-I-VI)

That’s the rule. It goes no further as the replay official actually watched the video evidence and correctly determined the player wasn’t struck in the head or neck. Had there been forcible contact to head and neck then they go into the subsection and look for an indicator of targeting. Article 3 is related to crown of helmet so no point going over that.

Yes I said “ correctly determined “ and that means “ literally something “ you dip sh$#. You’re not an attorney are you? I sure hope not.

One last time for you dippy. Look at the impact. His head is up and hits him with his shoulder. The strike is not to MHJ head or neck. It was a hard hit but that’s not a criteria for targeting. Read the rule and apply it. You don’t have to be a “ Georgia fan” to do it. You lost. The game and this argument lol

This has been like playing chess with a pigeon. He doesn’t know the rules. Knocks all the pieces off the board. Then craps on the board and struts around like he won

That’s a hypothetical penalty in his mind.
