Lucy's is in the Warehouse District with the Rusty Nail. Tons of good restaurants that way, along with Harrah's.
my advice-
pregame hard at your hotel(we like to do this by the pool)
head to Lucy's or the Rusty Nail, watch game
head to Harrah's to let the post game crowd go down a bit
post harrah's go to bourbon

sounds like an excellent plan. We went to the Saints/Falcons Monday night game and our group went to eat at Mr. B's Bistro in the Quarter and walked to the Dome.

prob the most important part is the pregaming. you want to be nice and toasted wherever you go so your wallet doesn't hate you the next morning. it probably will if you like strippers or gambling, though.

I know they are not to be fricked with. Going to try to keep the stupid behavior in the streets to a minimum

NOPD are pretty tame. you have to be a real fricking jackass to get their attention.

we stayed at the Wyndham for the Saints Falcons game. Mariott for UL bowl game and Hilton Riverside for a Thanksgiving family reunion. Been to NOLA 3 times in the past month. Wish I was going for the BCSNC.

eh, it'd be fun but probably too crowded downtown. the nola bowl had the perfect amount of people.

It would definitely be too crowded, but it would be a blast especially with an LSU win. You also have a Saints playoff game that weekend. Lot's of partying going on. The nola bowl had a great turnout and was a blast. Half of Lafayette was there.

yep. that was one of the best trips i've ever had in NOLA. it's weird going into bars down bourbon and seeing people you know at each one.
Posted on 1/3/12 at 7:27 pm to NIH
I didn't hit any bars after the game because I was with 3 of my nephews, but at the game I kept running into everyone I knew while grabbing beers. New tons of people sitting in my section.

Wish I was memphis. I may go into NOLA to party with some friends but the game is a longshot. Party hard for me dude.
