I didn't ask about perspective. We now have a guy saying LF isn't a great back because Bama stopped him. But Henry is a great back because only unranled teams can stop him. How does that make sense?

Henry didn't run in the second half vs. ULM. Do you honestly think they would have stopped him after their D was tired if Saban actually decided to run Henry?

Sorry that LF7 got 13 second half carries against EMU, 3 in the fourth, and a TD in the fourth.

He didn't run in the fourth vs MTSU. Hr ran only 8 times total in the 3rd quarter. He was at 96 yards and above 5 yards per carry.

So you can make excuses for Henry getting shutdown but we can't say anything about LF? That doesn't seem fair

Damn dude really?

Can you not translate that?

Here, I'll help a brother out.

It means the guys Fournette faced at Sysracuse, EMich and WKy to pad his stats wont be there to pad his stats in the NFL.

He'll face comparable talent every week like he faced Saturday night.

Does that help you any?

No where does it say he wont play in the NFL, it says he's not as great as you think.

So you honest don't think Fournette is a great back? Since you seem to know the NFL so well, which runs on Saturday could LF have busted open? You are the reason Gumps have a bad name There have been some dumb Lsu fans who refuse to give Henry credit. You are a dumbass Bama fan who refuses to give LF credit. I hope the two sides fight to the death

Henry had more yards and was at least at 4.0 ypc vs ULM. Oh and did I mention it was only a half of football?

LF7 played the whole game, and he got dominated.

LF7 is 200 yards behind Henry in SEC play on 60 less carries

Well based on Fournette's recent trend (19 rushes for 31 yards) it would take him about 123 carries to get those 200 yards needed to catch Henry.

You are right. LF has had no success this season against the SEC.

I didn't say that. I just said based on his last 19 rushes he is trending down.

So your assuming that in the NFL, his NFL teams OLINE will be dominated every game by the opponents DLINE every single game just like we saw last weekend? We can assume he will be getting hit in the backfield by 3 players almost every single play?

Maybe if he played for the Raiders team of a couple years ago but anybody else I would say it's safe to assume they may actually decide block for him some games chief. That's the cool thing about the NFL, see your team (and specifically the OLINE in this instance) is generally composed of really good former College players as well.

Also, yes there is a difference, believe it or not, in the NFL between the New England Patriots and say, the Detroit Lions.

After this weekend stats19 can we revisit this convo? We will be able to compare DH and LF to two common opponents: MSU and Arky. Nothing is a better comparison then that wouldn't you agree?

Bama fans doesn't relize what LSU is bringing to Bryant Denny. Lsu has the only line one the country that can go toe to toe with their front 7, a once in a generation running back, and a QB that doesn't make mistakes throwing to future pro receivers. A defense that's more than capable to stop Coker and Henery, Bama watch out!

So LF gets almost a full yard more a carry than Henry in conference play and somehow that is a stat you use to sell Henry? You are really driving home your point...LOL

You think Saban is going to run him in the 2nd half versus Charleston Southern?
