I just read the name of the person behind the new 'academy' in another story. Turns out I know the guy through multiple overlapping circles of acquaintances.

I'm now more certain than ever there is absolutely ZERO chance this 'team' ever plays a game. I really doubt a single shovel full of dirt ever gets moved.

Thought this was about South Alabama at first. That would’ve been interesting

Haha. This would have been more believable had they put the school in a bigger city. Coosada barely classifies as a town.

I doubt Slapout would have been any better.

The one thing you can count on is that he will never coach a game for this ‘team’.

It didn’t really take a crystal ball to make this prediction, but even I thought it would take 6 months or so to come true.

Instead it took less than 2. Even Propst has seen the light about USA Academy.

That article is from last year. Propst said today he will not coach there.

He is from Alabama. Whether it is high school or college level. They think cheating is their birthright.

Dude your head coach literally grew up in Bama and coached at Bama.

Any self respecting program wouldn't hire Rush. You're asking for it of you do.

Biggest worm in all of sports. Has resigned from USA already. They probably told him he had to give up a wife or stop medicating his players.

No high school coach should be able to work again after being accused of the drugs he gave to players

Propst is as big a snake as there is but he brings up some valid reasoning for pulling out, this whole enterprise seems doomed to fail.

Word is that he was getting prescription drugs/pain killers to kids. High school kids.
