Exception: Cocktail Party & Red River Shootout

the last 40 plus years UGA has played 4 away OOC games outside of Atlanta and Clemson. 4 true road games. That’s the point. I’m sorry this concept is so hard to grasp and accept.

It’s funny how you whine about talking about individual uga games yesterday, yet here you are talking about individual uga games today.

Why? I don't care, but I am curious as to why you want them banned? Give me your reasons then I will play devil's advocate.

Is this a serious question? Playing games in generic pro stadiums rather than on campuses doesn’t warrant argument.

Real college football fans do not like neutral site games. They simply tolerate them because they want to see their team play another big name team. You’d honesty rather see Georgia play Notre Dame in Atlanta than see them play in South Bend & Athens?

Believe me that’s no treat. Try going to that hovel on North Avenue every other year. Beating their brains out only partially makes up for all the crap one must endure just to attend a game at GT. Why doesn’t AU take them on? Y’all could use easier opponents and GT is definitely that and you are used to congested roads around the stadium and crappy surroundings. Heck y’all would feel right at home

And they get Georgia Tech as a permanent rival.

I moved to Bham from ATL in 2003; I can’t even begin to tell you how much fun it was watching the Yellow Jackets shock the Barn that September

then they whipped y’all again in 2005

Aubie hasn’t scheduled them since, seems odd…

Wreck Tech week used to be a big deal on the Plains

Have not heard any rumors of this.
On OU schedule as a home game in Norman and OU fans, mechants, restaurants, bars, and hotels will not let it move to Arlington and definitely not to Atlanta/NOLA.
Why would OU ever agree to move a marquee game away from Norman when there are 6 home games scheduled including the marquee game?

Who is your "source"?

Unable to verify if true so far, but have heard the UGA@Oklahoma game may be moving to a neutral site and the 2031 game in Athens will be canceled.

Where UGA-OU game would be moved to is uncertain, but Atlanta and Dallas would be the top possibilities.

What? No Liberty Bowl?
