You do know that Alabama has not played an away game against an OOC P5 team in the last 10 years, right?
They have all been neutral site games.

Unranked 8-5 OU and #9 10-2 Oregon are much tougher than 10-3 ND who was finished #11 and 11-3 Clemson who finished #14? You’re just trolling now.

Y’all are pathetically fellating GT to try and make a point and it’s hilarious

GT is still a better overall program the last 15 years compared to your other OOC road trips.

Yes, they have. But we didn't move them. An LSU fan did when he posted this:
Would make sense.

UGA rarely ever plays in a tough road environment.

Then you ans Smokeyone ran with it, and now y'all don't like where it took us.

quote:

You've abandoned the scheduling argument and have moved on to "well well well UT sux @ futball!!!" Yeah, no shite. We're not talking about that

No at all. All you have to do is look a couple of posts above and you can see where I showed two things.

1. Georgia has scheduled a tougher road schedule
2. Georgia has done better with that tougher road schedule.

I can always repost if you can't look above.

quote:

s it 10, or is it 15? you keep changing your window to suit you and i'm getting whiplash
I was talking to you and used 10. I don't think going back an additional 5 years would help you much, but if you would like I can do that. Would you like for me to do that?

Out of curiosity.....do you want to stand by your statement that UT played a tougher OCC road schedule?

You are right. My bad.

ETA
I will stand by my statement that, until recently, GT was as tough a game as Auburn or Tennessee for us, though.

It doesnt matter if the window is 5, 10, 15, or 20 years.
Georgia travels and schedules better than any team in the SEC.

The past 15 seasons against OOC , Tennessee played 0 P5 opponents twice.
Not only has UGA never done that, but we scheduled P5 OOC road games in the same season twice.
We scheduled 3 P5 OOC games in the same season once and have it lined up that way about 4 more times in the future.

The whiplash is tennessee talking big until they get sat side by side with UGA.

I have consistently used 15 years and I stand by my statement that if you take off your bulldog glasses and realize that Your games against GT are irrelevant to this discussion about tough OOC oppponets because GT is a joke and it’s a 30 minute drive from your campus into the heart of Bulldog territory, then UT and UGA both have an argument for the better OOC schedule over the last 15+ years.

You’re going to weight your evidence more highly, I’m going to weight mine more highly, and we’re not going to change each other’s minds. Such is arguing on the internet with a stranger.

I seem to remember UT struggling with GT not that long ago. They are a joke but they nearly beat UT.

Irrelevant to you, but let's face it....I can name several SEC teams that GT has done better than them in the last 15 years, and Tennessee is probably one of those.(Granted I am saying that without looking)

I weigh mine according to the teams records and final rankings. How will you weigh yours?

I'm about to take a shower. When I get out, I will add 5 more years to my research and put the complete results on here. You look at those, and by looking at the records and final rankings you tell me who scheduled tougher road games.

You know I’m not going to do that

And scheduling of games often happens 5/10 years prior to a game, so the record at the time of the game is irrelevant to the toughness of the schedule. Do you get docked for scheduling OSU now if when you eventually play them they go 4-8? To many other factors and too many cancellations and switches to come up with a determinative answer so we can keep arguing or we can move on to the weekend. All I know is that in 15 years these are our true road games and I’d put it up against anyone.

@Pitt (home and home) (@Pitt this upcoming season)
@OU (home and home)
@Oregon (home and home)
@UCLA
@Cal (home and home)

(the NC state game you referenced was a neutral site)

Georgia travels well and creates a sea of red where ever they go. Ask ND

Wrong.
We only get so many OOC games to schedule.
We only get so many home games (home and home takes away from that).
Scheduling tech every year is absolutely relevant.
And as has been proven, tech is every bit as good if not better than the bottom half of the SEC (10-0 record against 4 teams with one of those wins in the orange bowl against the formerly #1 team in the country).

GT is a joke and it’s a 30 minute drive from your campus

What? Lol

lol
Tennessee has multiple seasons with no P5 OOC.
UGA has 11 seasons in the past 15 years with 2 P5 OOC opponents. One of those seasons actually had 3 P5 OOC opponents.
In two of those seasons, we stacked 2 P5 OOC away games on top of one another.

quote:

You’re going to weight your evidence more highly, I’m going to weight mine more highly, and we’re not going to change each other’s minds. Such is arguing on the internet with a stranger.

You are a moron with absolutely no argument. Even excluding GT, we have the same number of away games and home games and you are going to bleed on the internet how that is the same without an OOC p5 rival to go with it (who has been tougher than Tennessee during those same 15 seasons).

UT is lucky they don’t play them every year. GT is horrible but UT is too. There would have been some Tech victories for sure.

I heard a rumor that the Sooners will choke away a big lead in this game. Not verified yet but seems likely.
