JMO but no JT might have been given a 5* rating but he sure as hell is not a 5* player.

Stet made a mistake on the pick but he isn't the reason they lost the game.

Thats a pretty dumb tale induced by you not knowing enough about football to comprehend what you are seeing. It’s just a bunch of fast moving people for you.

UGA did blitz on occasion. With ILBs (that’s is inside linebackers for your future reference) between the tackles. Poorly timed and Into the backs of our DL looking like they were doing the Lido shuffle as they were trying to find a seam.

The blueprint to disrupt Bama’s offense was shown by several teams, the most recent being Auburn. Edge pressure. Constant edge pressure. UGA did not take that approach until 4 minutes had run off in the 3rd quarter and they were down 14 points.

Now stop commenting on things you are not equipped to understand. Freaking cross country guy talking about football. Stop.

Per PFF Georgia blitzed on 21 of Bryce's 48 drop backs (44%).

"... you can't let some hotshot, overrated QB and his parents running your program"

Why not??? That is what was happening down in Auburn until the fracture.

He averages 41 dropbacks per game, and that includes games he only played a half or so in.

40 vs Miami
38 vs Florida
56 vs Texas A&M
54 vs Tennessee
44 vs LSU
45 vs Arkansas
61 vs Auburn
48 vs Georgia

There is a difference in bringing one extra and two or three. We typically run a 3 man front, so you would be accurate to say we blitzed a lot if we brought 4. Alabama's OLine did a great job picking up the blitzes, and we obviously need to bring more than 4.

It is what it is. Hopefully we will see them again. It may not go any differently, but who knows?

I posted elsewhere but the ONLY explanation I can come up with is that kirby went "ok, we can clearly see from LSU and AU how to defend alabama. Alabama knows that we know this. So they'll probably switch it up and do XYZ, so we need to do such and such so defend XYZ". Instead of just doing that has shown to work.

If Bama meets UGA in the NCG, we’re gonna really do XYZ this time. Pass it along.

The Justin Fields situation comes to mind. Not that he should have replaced Fromm day 1 but because when he did get on the field, let him run the playbook rather than handing off most of the time. Bye Bye Justin.

Justin threw more TDs as a Freshman backup QB than Tim Tebow did when he backed up Leak. He was the same QB then he is now..one read and run around, mostly til he gets sacked.

A bunch of UGA fans called Mullen the QB whisperer, all season long.

Maybe Kirby is the real QB whisperer after all?
