I would think Aggie recruiting would take a hit in this hypothetical scenario. That fan base is not interested in those Big 10 teams. Regardless of Texas, they have way too many culture ties to the south in general.

You know… the current century? Or was Texas a&m an all-male military college then under the thumb of scholarship limits? It’s hard to keep up with y’all’s numerous excuses sometimes.

Then, when the sec figured out how pathetic and creepy a&m was, they begged Texas and OU to join to make up for their mistake. It resulted in A&M’s entire administration weeping on camera at SEC media days in 2021 (objectively hilarious).

Texas won over 240 big 12 championships across all sports while in the conference. The team with the second most (Oklahoma) had less than 110
