Current RPI's are surprising. To my TAMU self haters, we are #6 in the SEC, not at the bottom where you think we should be.

Big fan of Churchill...can't help it:
The pessimist sees difficulty in every opportunity. The optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.
I am an optimist. It does not seem too much use being anything else.

Although the last two games have been encouraging, Billy Kennedy has taken my sunshine away.

La Salle is 29th in the RPI... el oh el.
When can we stop basing the NCAAT on RPI?

So we can't fire Kennedy yet?

Like I said, KENPOM or STFU. Far better predictor of the rest of the season than straight RPI.
If you look at just RPI, you fail to see the whole picture. You have to also look at:
Strength of Schedule
Quality wins
Bad losses (especially to 101+ RPI teams AT HOME)
Last 10 games
Conference strength

You know, I am a premium subscriber to 2 other boards. I find the free boards disgustingly negative. I don't need another "zoo". I come over to the Rant to banter with SEC guys (let's face it, to harass the swamp tards and hog tards) and find many horrifically negative Ags. Go figure...

I think Kenpom is becoming more and more of a universally accepted indicator, although the committee will never admit it. Vegas cappers love Kenpom and DGAF about RPI for the most part.
The RPI is just terrible this year, and it's been trending that way for years now. You can't tell me La Salle is 7 seed, but RPI does.

Alabama win hurt our RPI.

This trend will continue... the SEC is just so bad this year.

I'm curious as to how beating UF didn't help our RPI any, we stayed stagnant.

One would think that being in the 200s any win would improve our RPI, but I have no idea how that witchcraft works.
