keep it in atlanta... no reason to have the game in NOLA then ask the champion to play there again five weeks later.
Move it back to Birmingham. Legion Field field is beautiful.

Both of your crystal balls were won in the superdome. Don't think you had home field advantage vs. Okla/Ohio St?
Just the luck of the draw. The BCS Nat'l Championship isn't always played in New Orleans. If it were, this would be a reasonable argument.
As far as the Citrus, it's an old stadium, I agree, but I like Orlando hosting the SEC Championship every five years. Great city.
As far as Atlanta, it is a great to city to host the SEC Championship, but it shouldn't be the ONLY city.

Superdome--- New Orleans (71,246) Fans aren't gonna pay a shite ton of money to come to New Orleans, and have to come back a month later.
quote:
Florida Citrus Bowl--- Orlando, Fl (70,000) Absolute shite hole.
quote:
LP Stadium--- Nashville, Tn (68,000) I'd be fine with this, but I think your corporate types are gonna want an indoor venue.
quote:
Cowboys Stadium--- Arlington, TX (105,000) Seriously? Have the SECC in a state that doesn't even have a SEC team? Why not really go all out, and move the SECC to Hawaii so we can really party it up.

There's literally nothing anyone in the thread could say, that would make me believe Nashville wouldn't be an extremely succesful host city.

Citrus is indeed old and a total piece of poo.
Orlando sucks too.

About the only other city I think you could make a legitimate argument for. I had an absolute blast the two times I went there.

Sure, it's not in an SEC state, but it borders to of them, and it's not HAWAII (ridiculous comparison, even if you were being sarcastic). The reason I chose Cowboys Stadium is because it is the best stadium in America right now.

Build a nice stadium in Miss. That would truly be a neutral site considering home state teams would almost never play in it.

Damn took my joke. Play it in Oxford so nobody ever has a home field advantage

Ohio also borders an SEC state.
You picked Jerry World because you live in Austin.

That's exactly why you, Tide fans, Vol fans, and UGA fans would want it to stay there. The rest of us are sick of it.
Fine with me if LSU never makes it back to ATL - Just more trips for us Bama fans.

I think New Orleans is the one exception to that rule, everyone loves the Big Easy. Also, the fan doesn't care where he has to go, his team won the SEC Championship!

I picked JerryWorld because it's friggin' AWESOME!!!
Also, if Cincinnati had MargeSchottWORLD, an awesome stadium seating up to 105,000 I wouldn't have a problem with it being played in Cincy.

How about we just quit having the the SEC Championship game and name Alabama SEC Champs every year.

Atlanta
Pros:
Domed in field
Very accesible airport
Lots to do
Biggest city in the south
Cons:
Shitty public transportation
Not centrally located
The dome needs some renovation
I know I'm missing some things but that's just off the top of my head.
