So one guy sucker punched someone and ran, AND THE FRATS RAN DOWN THE ROAD AFTER HIM. You chase after someone with the intent to hurt them, you get what you asked for.

I live in Nashville and multiple callers called in to 104.5 who were at the bar. All heard him yell roll tide. It happened. Get over it.
Doesn't address the rest of my point. If he was trying to pick a fight with Mett, wouldn't he think yelling "Roll Tide" would help him achieve that goal? Especially after his visible on-the-field frustration with the outcome of this past season's game?
So many people yell out "Roll Tide" to act like fools these days that I hardly think they are all Bama fans.

I disagree with you that I should be somehow embarassed about that.
i never said you should be embarrassed in my post. I said you should laugh along with everyone else because it's hilarious (and sad) at how pathetic the lives of many people in these stories are. Just look at it like a people of walmart blog and don't acknowledge the fact they root for the same team as you. If you take that out, it's impossible not to be entertained.

Don't worry LSU and Auburn will never have enough success to have people that take it too far like that.
It comes with being the best college football program of all time and the good fans don't like it but it comes with being the greatest, everyone wants a piece of that championship feeling.
But like I said, don't worry, you'll never achieve anywhere near the same level of success.

I would view it this way if it included all fanbases. Instead this is an attempt to act like all Bama fans are classless losers. It shows more poorly on the people making the claim than the ones they are accusing. That makes it sad in a different way.

Notre Dame still has the largest sidewalk fanbase in the country, and was a powerhouse of a team for decades yet we don't see them acting this way.
Same with Nebraska, Michigan, etc.

So what should Barrett have done, stand and get curbstomped? That is just stupid. The frats actually are lucky, if his old man had been along they might have REALLY gotten hurt.

I'm pretty new around here but you bama guys are ridiculously delusional. You're trying to defend the actions of murderers, rapists, and other criminals by claiming it's because we're so good at football.

NASCAR, Jean Shorts, Bama tattoo
hell the only surprising thing in that photo is he's drinking a Coke as opposed to a Busch Light.

This is a very clear misunderstanding of what is being said in this thread.

Alabama student runs over Ole Miss fan
i know we're trying to pile on Bama in here, but that's a drunk kid make a drunk kid mistake of driving a car and costing someone his life. if the story was that he saw two ole miss fans walking across the street and then decided to intentionally drive over them for the fact of them being opposing fans, then yeah.

It's okay to murder someone when they talk about your football team.

They're lucky more criminal family members weren't there? I guess so.
Who said he'd get curbed stomped? He's an MMA fighter, after all. Simple fact is, he and his friends started a fight, the fight continued, and Barrett escalated it. Fraternity fights happen all the time, and people get their nose bloodied and go home.
He and his boys went out looking for trouble, and he ended up doing time for it. That's the difference between the arguably irresponsible Auburn kids and the clearly felonious Bama fan.

Nah. You guys are pretty easy to figure out.

This would make a killer coffee table book. Of course it would need to be a "pop-up" book for the target audience, but I can see this making serious $$$ if packaged and marketing correctly. Maybe a special edition with signatures from the leading GUMP offenders and background stories evidencing just how deep their Tides are Rolled.
