They've got a ton of young talent, especially on defense. What I can't figure out is why they can't recruit better wide receivers.

It's just a ridiculous statement to make, all things considered. Are they talented? Sure, they're recruited as good as anyone. Is that "talent" showing up for them this year? Meh, not really showing me they're the most talented team in the country as Robert Smith said with such finality.

Florida is very talented. I'd say top 10 talent at the very least. Just not clicking for them this year, much like LSU last year.

If he would have said they are one of the more talented teams, I wouldn't balk at the statement. But he said they were the most as if it wasn't even a question. Just struck me as odd considering their current game with USC and their season up to this point.
