We've had at least two signees be academically ineligible and have to go to JUCO from every class Saban has signed, if we were able to get en qualified this easily I think we would've been doing it already, we've had prospects that are much more talented than Paige end up being ineligible due to grades, not saying Paige isn't good cause he's very good.Sounds like a made up story to me imo.

The biggest concern for Bama fans IMO is the "they already got my Mom a job in Foley."
damn, we should have moved him to tuscaloosa and got his mom a job at the university

standard operating procedure. how else would a place like bama be able to secure the services of a 3 star defensive tackle? also, we fix grades so much that none of our commits ever have to go the junior college route, etc... of wait, yes they do (dial, belue, etc..) this is one of the more ludicrous things i have read in a while.
lol exactly, this story doesn't make any sense imo.

Out of Office.
Sorry, I cannot respond to your post at this time as I am busy dialing the NCAA as we speak.

yep, no way we are pulling strings for a 3 star 270 lbs tackle. we are loaded with d line recruits form the last class. also, what kind of athletic director for a school goes and posts confidential information about a high school player on a sports board? this is a pretty poorly thought out troll

Just because he is rated a 3 star by the services doesn't mean your coaches view him that way. They may think he is one of the best players in your class. LSU wanted Paige too. He is very legit.

I might consider believing this if it weren't for the points already raised by others in this thread and a little thing called FERPA. If that's really the AD, that's one stupid mf'er. It isn't, though.

If this is true, which I am sure it is not, I know who this probably is. I know plenty at WHS and there is a person that would fit this anger.

nothing to see here, please move along.

Another reason this is bullshite: DJ Fluker is very intelligent and is an excellent student. Always has been.

Now I am nervous because the AD acts like what is being said. Funny since he recruits middle schoolers to come to his high school.

good call. if this actually is a school official, he is likely getting fired soon
"Generally, schools must have written permission from the parent or eligible student in order to release any information from a student's education record. However, FERPA allows schools to disclose those records, without consent, to the following parties or under the following conditions (34 CFR § 99.31):
School officials with legitimate educational interest;
Other schools to which a student is transferring;
Specified officials for audit or evaluation purposes;
Appropriate parties in connection with financial aid to a student;
Organizations conducting certain studies for or on behalf of the school;
Accrediting organizations;
To comply with a judicial order or lawfully issued subpoena;
Appropriate officials in cases of health and safety emergencies; and
State and local authorities, within a juvenile justice system, pursuant to specific State law."
rivals sports board is oddly not on the list.

If that story were legitimate, which it is obviously not, the AD who posted it has just broken the law and proudly identified himself while he did it. So I guess if he gets fired and suit filed against him tomorrow we'll know it's legitimate.

Regardless, the allegations are that Pruitt:
1. Is encouraging a transfer.
2. Inquired about whether they have an academic plan for the player.
3. Got the mom a job.
4. Will get Foley to hook him up.
1 and 2 aren't violations. They'd never catch Bama on 3, even if true, and we all know it. And 4 hasn't happened yet.

You are correct , this stuff is getting old.
Now is Alabama being investigated? Is that even possible? Someone would have to have a lot more than the original post. I do think this has some truth, which when you connect dots can be dangerous. Will lead you to strange conclusions.

Every high school has one. It is usually the head football coach.
