Seriously probably 100% true. Auburn does it too, though.
but that doesn't make it right.

Logical to assume they are changing grades to continue fooball success.

You're right, but it goes back to what I brought up a week or two ago... we all have each other by the nuts, and in a way - that helps me feel better. I don't think we'll ever turn each other in... mutually assured destruction.

Who gives a frick? They generate a gazillion dollars for the university's, and the sec. If I am a elite talent, you gonna pay for exploits.

Totally legit. A Bama coach is going to tell someone they aren't familiar with, over the phone, that we've got the cheat all set up and ready to go.

But the other part of me really, really hopes we aren't cheating to acquire the services of the 38th ranked player in the state of Florida.

Yeah, as far as the rivalry went, the 1990's sucked when we were throwing ICBM's at each other.

Everyone has dirt. No one's dirt involves a HS administrator that isn't "initiated". There is no way in 1000 years that Pruitt would have been so cavalier with him unless he knew the principal would play ball.
Kids move for academic reasons all the time. Kids parents find jobs closer to that school all the time so they can live/work in that zone and their kid can be eligible to play there (see R. Foster). This is a situation where someone is trying to connect dots and then makes a big jump on the final dot.
for the person who asked about Pruitt and grade changing at Hoover, that was something that was sent to the NCAA and neither Bama nor Pruitt were found to have done anything wrong. In fact, all players it supposedly happened for were eligible to play and did play at Bama.

Look do I think Auburn, LSU, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, etc. cheat? Is it cheating if it can not be proven?

maybe so...just pointing out this is not the first time Pruitt's name has come up in a grade change issue.

And it probably won't be the last so long as Operation Red Dog people are still out there David Housel'ing it up.
Can everyone just give it a fricking break?

standard operating procedure. how else would a place like bama be able to secure the services of a 3 star defensive tackle? also, we fix grades so much that none of our commits ever have to go the junior college route, etc... of wait, yes they do (dial, belue, etc..) this is one of the more ludicrous things i have read in a while.
