Thats a shame. Didn't know him personally, but he seemed like a nice guy from his posts on here. Hope his wife has a good support group.

RIP Steven.
I'm sure Steven4bama would be moved by the words on the rant.

I never talked to him on here, but it amazes me how many people on TD actually knew and liked the guy. Must have been a great man. RIP.

Steven4bama, passed away this morning after battling an illness for quite some time
Oh my God! He called me about a month before this year's bama game but I didn't have time to talk. I meant to call him back but it slipped my mind. I had no idea he was ill.

He was a genuine guy and showed me a good time on my own school's campus. Not many people are as genuinly likeable like Steven. The instant he met me (a stranger from a message board) he was as inviting as a long lost fiend. You could tell from just meeting him one time that he was as passionate about Bama football as anybody could possibly be about their team. All I can say is that he made me see Bama fans as real people.

RIP buddy. I'm really torn up. I'll be saying prayers for the family for quite some time.

You will be missed Steve. I met him IRL and used to get weekly calls from him. He always called and asked about my son who has muscular dystrophy. Good guy. My prayers are with his wife and family.
ETA: He used to talk shite about how much better SuCo was than Makers although he had never had Makers. So I found his tailgate in BR in 08 and brought him a Makers Manhattan...he liked it and then proceeded to inhale purple and gold jello shots.
The world lost a good guy.
