I think he was third all-time as far as Tennessee games called on TV. A lot of great SEC football Saturday nights with that guy. I preferred him to Verne to be quite honest.

He also had some great basketball calls for the Big 12.

Verne wasn't even in his league calling CFB games.

Verne was good at golf though. The speed of CFB was just a bit much for him IMHO.

Keith Jackson's gone, Larry Munson is gone, and now Ron Franklin too. Guess that means no volume at all from here on out at my house.

No. That was from 2005. He was fired in 2010 because horseface Jeannine Edwards couldn't help sticking her horse face where it didn't belong.
