AU, Bama, or UGA.

Gonna go out on a pretty sturdy limb here and say AU. :precongratssentaubbies:

Gunner Kiehl announces on Sunday. Looks like OU or Bama. I felt really good about Bama until Neal commited to OU. Also, I believe Gunner is in Oklahoma now. Everyone likes to be the last place a kid visits before he commits.

I hope Ricky picks Auburn, since Fulse may not qualify this season. He could be at JUCO for 2 years.

Gotta think it's Oklahoma. With them landing Neal, and the sky high possibilty of landing DGB, he's pretty much a lock.. IMO, of course.

That would be nasty. Unfair for the Big 12 or Ten or whatever they are now.

Looks that way for all the reasons I mentioned in the OP. Had he announced last Sunday I believe it would have been Bama. I still like our chances, but just not as much.

I've got a couple of contacts I am checking with who usually know this type of thing early (don't wanna hear that you don't believe me or any sarcastic "insiderrrrrzzz" BS). I'll have a really good feel for if it is Gunner or Winston by end of the day.

Who is this Ricky character and what's the deal with Fulse? Also, any news on whether or not Mason will qualify?

Bump this thread and let us know, I know you have good ties.

Common sense just tells me Gunner to OU, Winston to 'Bama or MLB. I just can't see him turning down a fat MLB contract.

Rated like the #1 Tight End of this class. I have no idea on Mason as of now.. But Fulse was expected to be a sign and place.

The Recruiting corner on rivals claims that Bama is still in the lead even after the Oklahoma trip and that the Sunday announcement rumor hasn't been stated publicly by any member of the Keil family. Who knows though?

Parks is arguably the best TE in this class (IMO). Bama led for a while, but AU seems to have come on strong and taken the lead. He had a blast at BCW and I was told AU thought he was going to commit before he left based on how he was acting.

AU likely gets it tomorrow, but he did visit UGA last and every school likes to be the last visit with impressionable 17-18 yr olds...and UGA has a good history with TEs.

A *4 TE Justin Meredith tried to commit at BCW, but the coaches turned him down. That tells me we got Parks. If not, we missed out on a really good player, as Meredith committed to UNC a couple days later.

But I think we got Parks in the bag. And I actually still think Bama has a great shot with Kiel. But that would suck to lose both Kiel and Durron Neal to Oklahoma in a matter of days

I'm not too concerned with UGA. IIRC, they're pretty stacked at TE

Yeah. I'm not predicting UGA. I was just saying I could understand the logic behind it for a TE. I'm predicting AU tomorrow for reasons stated.

I think UGA's good history with TEs actually hurts us for this guy.

If he commited today, he would be behind Orsen Charles, Aron White, Arthur Lynch, and Jay Rome.

There's this walkon tight end who is pretty sick too...I don't know his name though.

I think AU gets Parks
