Go back and watch each foul from the game and their severity...
This was an arse-kicking that was more lopsided than the final score.

You are literally more triggered by a Kentucky loss than Kentucky fans.

Exactly. They were only second to Dayton last season in conference and Dayton was one of the better teams in the country. And returned almost everyone.

Like I said, the Rantards separate themselves early on this board when they try to "talk shite" about games like this.

I remember people trying to defend the Evansville loss last year before they went on to finish 0-18 in the MVC

They still won the SEC when it was said and done. Obviously we don't know what would've happened in the tournament.

It's less defense and more so not the end of the world. For some reason, y'all haven't figured that out yet when it comes to Cal and UK.

Richmond is a good team. This shouldn't surprise anyone. It doesn't me.

Biggest surprise was Richmond not losing key players to foul trouble while the outcome was somewhat in question.

It was entertaining and refreshing... we’ll see if Cal actually gets some valuable coaching points across to these guys... but they didn’t sign on to UK for the coaching.

Did you intend this for me? I said they were a good team, and was not surprised. What is the spin?

Count me amongst the Kentucky fans who doesn't give a flying frick about that shite.

Not gonna make excuses for losing these games like we do every year either. Enough of this crap.

Shouldn’t be out coached or outplayed with that much talent at home. But Richmond is probably the best team in the A10 and will be ranked all year with this win

This guy gets it.

UK should dominate a Richmond team that doesn't have a fraction of the resources a Kentucky has when it comes to basketball.

But at UK (and others - don't think you're alone) identifying and selecting players solely for their perceived NBA potential has taken priority over recruiting players with great basketball skills... they're largely ranked this way as well.

Players who've stood out for their physical skills since they were 10yrs old are repeatedly exposed when they come up against more fundamentally sound and fairly talented players who've had excellent coaching.

Put a whole team of those great athletes with mediocre coaching, and you've got UK.
Problem is Cal is not going to improve them much... but he'll put them in touch with NBA people who eventually just might.
