Well the point is Jones didn’t.
I don’t care who the defense is. The guy.
Trucked a safety. Stiff armed one like a child. Ran 74 yards on a read as possibly the fastest player on the field he burned everyone. He was a receiver for the Hail Mary and out jumped the defenders. He also jumped over a guy.
That’s impressive as hell for a QB.

I actually think Mullen is playing this situation right. Let Emory continue to have the keys for now but give AR some series/packages. It’s going to be an uphill battle in two weeks vs Bama regardless whose under center so ideally you don’t want to throw a freshman AR to the wolves like that. And you can’t just pull the rug under Emory that fast. His confidence would be gone. However, AR absolutely needs to be involved in the gameplan and if he keeps killing it while Emory struggles a decision should be made.

I’ll tell you how this plays out. Kentucky is leading Florida 27-14 early in the 4th quarter. Kentucky comes free on a safety blitz, blind sides Emory and hurts him. Richardson comes in and leads a miraculous comeback and the Gators win 28-27. It happened with Frank’s getting replaced by Trask and it happened a couple years earlier when Luke Del Rio led a late comeback.

Don’t think anyone has ever claimed this here. Why are bulldogs fans so mad? Watch the highlights. That is quite impressive athleticism vs any opponent. The point as said a few comments up, is Jones didn’t do this. Richardson did.
If he gets to start, I’d be willing to bet he won’t only score 3 points vs any team he plays like that amazing Daniels guy you have.
