LSU base is
OL
QB
FB
RB
TE
2WR
We bring all TEs back, four of five OL and the FB (Neighbors started 7 of the last 8 games)
So six on offense
We bring back on defense
2 of 4 on the DL
2 of 3 in LB core
4 of 4 in secondary
Robinson, White, Mills, and Martin were all starters last year. Robinson may not be technically a starter, but he played a lot and started two of the last three games (bowl game included). Martin started the whole time until his injury. Thompson then started the next 3 games but got hurt also, which moved Mills over to safety for TAMU and Iowa (our two best passing game performances were these games with White and Rob at corner and Mills and Loston at safety).
So I'd go 8 starters back on the defense and 6 starters back on the offense for a respectable 14 returnees.

If we really want to talk about what A&M returns:
QB - Not much: 16 completions, 22 attempts, 183 yards, 1 TD
RB - 205 carries, 1096 yards, 14 touchdowns
WR/TE - 142 catches, 1500 yards, 13 touchdowns
Anything else published by Phil Steele is a retarded metric.

Howard left the team.
Howard's status is still considered a "leave of absence". He hasn't officially been removed from the team...yet.
