Smith won't start this season. He had shoulder surgery in the off season and it's likely Towles starting at QB.

What does Phil Steele base "1, 2" off of?

If it's RECEPTIONS: Malcome Kennedy was our #2 receiver and he returns.

This is why I think TAMU will be good this year.

Mathers and Walton both had more yards then Scott. Scott was technically our starter till he got hurt but Mathers and Walton carried us the rest of the year.

Not sure how he got to this number. Either only counted 1 OL (Andrews b/c Theus/Houston split starts) or didn't count the FB.

I would say FB (Hall/Hicks) RB (Gurley) WR (take your pick) OL (Andrews, Theus, Houston) all have starting experience. Number should be 6, possibly 7.

Number should probably be 9. No JCH and no Garrison Smith.

ETA: Wasn't trying to be that guy, just saw you said you weren't sure how accurate it was.

Is MIKE MATTHEWS no longer our starting center? Did I miss something?

In terms of the expected starting offensive line next season:

LT - Cedric Ogbuehi (32 starts) RSSR
LG - Jarvis Harrison (30 starts) RSSR
C - Mike Matthews (13 starts) JR
RG - Garrett Gramling (4 starts) RSSR
RT - Germain Ifedi (13 starts) RSSO

Return 92 starts worth of offensive linemen

To put it into perspective, here was the starting line in 2012:

LT - Luke Joeckel (26 starts) JR
LG - Jarvis Harrison (7 starts) RSSO
C - Patrick Lewis (39 starts) SR
RG - Cedric Ogbuehi (7 starts) RSSO
RT - Jake Matthews (20 starts) JR

Ummm, we have quite a bit returning at skilled positions. Magee will be a monster parked with LF. I like our receivers this year. Will have consistency as long as we have a consistent QB

You do know the meaning of returning don't you?

Your top qb - gone, top RB - gone, top 2 WR - gone.

So that's nothing returning except backups.

Dumbass, backups, are you kidding me

We don't have backups, we have subs, and Magee is a starter

And it is opinion and debatable that hill was our best RB
