Kelvin Taylor (UF) - 2 rec, -8 yards, 0 TD
Observations: Nick Chubb is the clear cut best running back in the conference at this point. I'm not sure there's a close 2nd as we enter the 2015 season. He had 8 games of averaging more than 7 yards per carry - averaging 8+ in 6 of those contests.
Also, without having seen him play, it looks as though South Carolina's Brandon Wilds is poised for a potentially big year.

Wilds is a really solid, reliable, all around back. Runs with power, is a little faster than he looks, and has good hands. He's been hampered by a bunch of injuries that have kept him from being the go to guy. Doesn't have the raw talent or instincts that Lattimore or Davis had, but he gets the job done and has a good head on his shoulders.
I think Chubb is a better pure runner than Gurley is. Not sure how good his hands are, but he's got guys behind him that can do that for him. Georgia always puts up big numbers on offense so I expect he'll have enough help in the passing game to thrive this year.

I know the numbers aren't great, but do not sleep on Ralph Webb. Dude is gonna be good. I know "Vandy HB good" isn't the same standard as other's school, but he could surpass Zac Stacy, especially in Andy Ludwig's offense.

Why don't you add in receiving TD's/yards by the RBs?

Good idea, I can do that. Give me a couple minutes.

Not sure why you didn't put Jaylen Walton on the list. His YPC is better then most of those guys and his TD numbers are just as good as most.

Wait Brandon Wilds in limited action is 5th or better in every category. Well who could have seen that coming

Jaylen Walton's not bad but with our O-line he won't accomplish shite

That isn't the point. The post is about returning RBs. Jaylen is a returning RB for us.

Should be interesting to see how 2015 finishes. Some good players that haven't gotten a lot of carries or are new this year.

I look for Jonathan Williams to push for #2. He has home run ability
