I think James Franklin would be a great hire.

Franklin would be scary at LSU. He seems to have the right energy and has SEC experience and big time program experience. As an Auburn fan I hope they fumble this hire and do not land Franklin, but I think he would be a homerun hire.

I like Joe Brady. He would be a great offensive head coach

Aranda would be a good hire. Hugh freeze is a name that comes up from my LSU buddies.

Can LSU afford O's buyout?

Let me ask this question and clear this up.

When fans ask if a school can pay this buyout of said coach is it ignorance on behalf of the questioner about who actually pays these coaches salaries and buyouts?

I mean, you do know that not one cent of the buyout is paid by the university, right? Additionally, very little of their salaries while coaching is paid by the university? These coaches get paid by the respective athletic foundations of said school…TAF in LSU’s case or REC in Bama’s case etc. A buyout works the same way… paid by athletic boosters who are very well heeled.

Do you not know this or is your question simply you trying to be funny and shite on Louisiana and LSU for being a less wealthy state than Texas?

No, I'm just genuinely curious. I like the coaching carousel. It interests me every time.

We're still baffled as to why they'd give him an extension and raise, when nobody else wanted him?

Actually that’s not how it works. The coaches are employed usually by the board of regents. If I’m wrong then I’m wrong but they are employed by the university.

Does Alabama even have Coastal and Environmental Science to major in?
LSU is also one of only a handful of universities in the United States that are designated as a land-grant, sea-grant and space-grant institution.
Nice try.
