Arkansas and Long were trying to cover it up but once it was out of the bag, it was damage control from that point on. No one liked Petrino and so the powers didn't come to his rescue when he needed them the most.
Now if it was Houston Dale Nutt who did get caught having an affair with a news lady that was found from the FOI on his phone. They would have given him a slap on the wrist as years of rubbing shoulders with the Arkansas brass paid off. It is all a bout who you are and who you know.

Sam Pittman is the most sane hire since Ken Hatfield. The rest were drunks, narcissists, pathological liars, washed up has beens, lazy and short bus mentalities.
