Eli kinda got the baby brother stiff arm in this movie. A whole 5 mins devoted to him.

I thought so too. Barely mentioned him. Could that of possibly been due to his personality? They said he was always pretty quiet.

Really enjoyed this film. Have always liked the Mannings.

Pretty good but I was disappointed there was no mention of the 2003 Ole Miss-LSU game and Eli's famous slip
Yeah. Thought for sure that would be mentioned. Really shocked it wasn't.

Man - that was just outstanding. Not a single complaint from me. This was really Archie's story and how he overcame tragedy to raise three honorable kids that happen to do extraordinary things. Loved everything about it.

I wonder how bad OM fans would have melted down if there had been a recruiting board in 1994.
The internet would have exploded

I thought it did an outstanding job at leaving that out and throwing a little highlight of the 2001 game in there....

Not 2002, LSU won that one as well. It was 2001 that Eli beat LSU in Tiger Stadium. After that game Saban turned Rohan Davey and Josh Reed loose and we marched on to the SEC Title.

Knew it was one or the other

The documentary on the Manning family was excellent! I really wished Cooper had not gotten hurt.. That IS the Football Family of America!! I totally respect them and all they have done for the sport. That has been Archie's life all these years! To better the sport and conditions for the players. God Bless the Mannings!

Agree completely, it was beyond awesome and as much as I thought of Archie before I think even more of him now after seeing what kind of dad he is considering the stuff with his dad

Ah yes, 2001. The year we beat the SEC champion LSU in tiger stadium, finished 7-4, and were not selected for a bowl game. All the while Alabama, who we had also defeated that year, was selected above us for the independence bowl, posting a 6-5 record.

Watching now.....holy shite him playing with that cast and running like it wasn't even an issue

I'm trying to figure out why we don't see that hardly at all anymore.......is it bc of modem medicine just refusing to let someone play in a situation like that? Maybe it's just rare for a QB to just get a broken arm (I can't really think if an example) usually it involves a ahoulder but seems like they would never allow a QB to play with a cast like that now.
Not trying to discredit Archie at all, seeing the video of him doing that was one of the most badass football related things I've ever seen

He was fricking with Archie.
My favorite part.
"Archie Who" is the reason I was not a Saints fan until the mid 80's. Great people though. Peyton is my favorite.
Go to Hell Ole Piss!

Excellent show. These ESPN documentaries are usually good but tend to be a little on the depressing side. It was nice to see a fairly happy one for a change (though it did have it's share of tragedy as well).
