Noooo doubt, the UT fans I encountered in '09 had changed so hostile compared to the ones I did in '05 (maybe it was the plummet they have since faced)

I've never gotten so much crap by a fan base in my life. Before, during, and after the game. Without doing anything to antagonize them. I remember telling my friend near the end of the '09 game sitting in Neyland.. next year it'll be like the '08 SC-UT game when we beat UT down. And though you never know whats going to happen.. month by month this prediction has more and more change of being accurate.

UT fans deserve this shite, not just for the personal shite they threw my way, but for supporting Kiffin until they saw him for what the other 11 SEC schools saw him arse.

will be no sweat. It'll be awhile before we're that bad again, if we're ever that bad again.. hopefully it'll be another 50 yrs.

That will depend entirely on your coaching situation, which isn't predictable.

Bama self imploded with crappy coach hires and rogue boosters. Tenn fans heaped so much praise on Fulmer for his part in it too. It's not forgotten. But to now see them in as bad a shape as we were, without penalties yet, and done in by their own athletic dept and hires.. it brings a sentimental tear to my eye.

There's a couple of fans, I can feel their pain.. but overall.. it's sweet, and I hope it's another 4 yrs before they can even think about breaking the 8 win barrier.

I don't see us experimentin with unproven coaches anymore, or going for the good ole boy network anymore. We paid a dear price for that and I don't think the PTB will be doing that again.

So you're saying that the state your program was in as recently as 2006 would be IMPOSSIBLE to replicate? Are you really that much of a homer that you think every great coach in America will line up to come to T-Town when Saban leaves? It doesn't work like that anymore dude, this isn't 1962 when you're the only school who can get on national television. You're winning now because of one reason and one reason only: Nick Saban. When he leaves there won't be any difference between you and every other major SEC school.

You don't have a bigger stadium than Tennessee
You don't have more money than Georgia
You don't have more local talent than Florida
You don't have a better gameday atmosphere than LSU
and you can't grow grass better than Auburn

The greatest coach of all time just happened to have attended your school and now you frickers have these ridiculous delusions of grandeur.

That will only be the case if Dooley is really, really awful.

No.. I didnt say that at all.

Except for the numerous National Championships, record breaking Bowl appearances and wins and 22 SEC Championships. Saban definitely brought us out of our slumber, but we won before him, we'll win after him too. Like it or not, Bama is a step above.

We will at the season's kickoff.

You don't have more local talent than Florida

But we still win Championships.. and go undefeated, something you and Florida hasn't done.

That's relative to each person's views.

Given. They have alot better natural fertilizer there.

Yes. Yes he did, and yes we do.

All of which mean a lot less with recruits than you think it does.

By virtue of every measurement of how an athletic department actually runs, you're about the same as the rest of the big 6. The only thing that has set you apart has been coaches. One of which just happened to be a gump himself and the other freely admits that there was really nothing all that special about Alabama it was simply a better job than Arizona State. Without those two guys what are you? Probably hating life with Rich Rodriguez with an all-time record comparable to Ole Miss. It's not you, it's them.

Florida has not done that but LSU has.

The VAST majority of the college football world disagrees with you.

They obviously didn't line up to come to Baton Rouge...
